The Qtanium 350 is an extremely rugged, IP67 rated tracking system specifically designed for vehicles, plant and machinery operating within the most demanding conditions, such as construction sites and mining environments. The Qtanium 350 is reliable, robust and provides visibility into fleet engine hours, location, speed, ignition status, direction and distance travelled, and sends updates through to Navman GPS tracking software, DIRECTOR for recording, reporting and alerting.
It lets the fleet manager know where and how valuable assets are being used, and can provide an instant snapshot of utilisation. Its internal backup battery adds a further layer of reliability and security, allowing the equipment/vehicle to be tracked for up to five months without a direct power supply.
Adding the Qtanium 350 to vehicles, assets and heavy machinery means having key data on hand for
maintenance, monitoring and scheduling decisions – ensuring the fleet is not over-serviced (unnecessary cost) or under-serviced (risk of breakdown and delay to operations). The Qtanium 350 also provides visibility into unauthorised fleet usage. Theft alerts can be triggered if the equipment/vehicle moves outside a specific area, or if it is moved without ignition, an unauthorised movement alert is triggered by a built-in motion sensor. For cost-coding over a specific time period, up to 600 sites or geo-fences can be created within DIRECTOR’s mapping tool allowing the fleet manager to accurately report on how long each vehicle or piece
of equipment was located or used on site. These sites can also be named, giving more meaning to the
reporting. With the simple addition of our data analytics platform, cost codes and equipment hireage rates can be added for reconciliation against invoices with values based on actual usage.
Third party software integration for fuel consumption and tank levels
DIRECTOR is an open platform with an in-depth Application Programming Interface (API) as we embrace integration with back office software, technology partners, third party devices and automation where possible to further return value to the end user. Possibilities for this include dispatch solutions and plotting vehicles on a Customer’s internal ARC GIS dataset. Additional options may include financial or maintenance historians such as SAP, MYOB and site compliance applications similar to Vantage VPOB. We offer integration specialists on standby to discuss requirements.
